I love this place, food is great! Micheladas are amazing!
They just added tostilocos!
The only thing I won't recommend is the tosticeviche. It's a great concept, I've tried it twice but the shrimp are not cut up, it's large cooked shrimp, so if you're expecting you're traditional ceviche, maybe don't order this :) -

Why would any RESTAURANT have a Rat bait box holding the front door open???? WHY???
I didnt notice when I walked in because customers were standing by the door.
If I would have seen it I would first of all not walked in.
Disgusting UNSANITARY and just nasty!!!!
Does that mean rats are inside?
I noticed after I pay for my food and standing by waiting 4 my order
Didn't eat it once I arrived home. Waste of money
NASTY
After calling speaking to a so called manager or some one in charge. I requested he look at the front door and asked him what was holding the open. OMFG r u serious " its a bait box" I asked you dont see a problem with this? The answer was no.
Big RAT BAIT BOX
will never ever stepped in nasty place ever again.
Person needs to be fired -

Food is good. Real problem is lack of acceptable customer service. I hate the feeling that I (the customer) am inconveniencing the person behind the cash register. Very unwelcoming. Furthermore their menu is deceiving, for example you can make any burrito a combo, yet there is no description on what a combo includes or that if you mix chicken and beef rolled tacos, you'll be charged for two separate orders (which is more expensive).
Again, I hate that I have to write this because the food is actually good. But poor customer service, long and disorganized waits, really has me second guessing if I want to go back. -

So.........my last night in San Diego, I was in the mood for a "go big, or go home" type burrito. May I present, the T-Gunz Burrito! Definitely the largest burrito I have ever seen in my life. I ordered it to go, paid the lady my money $11.00 plus tax, and took a seat. About that.....it was hot as a mofo up in this restaurant. I grabbed a seat at one of the tables waiting for my food and started to sweat profusely. The front doors are always open from what it looks like, but throw on some fans or something, or crank up that air. If I had to eat there in the restaurant, it would have been miserable. Anyways.......only had to endure the heat for a few minutes until I got my burrito. Here is how it was...........
T-Gunz Burrito- What is in the T-Gunz Burrito? Glad you asked! It is a California Burrito, stuffed with 2 rolled tacos, and then wrapped in a quesadilla. A Frankenstein BEAST of a burrito. I'm not lying when I say its probably around 2-3lbs. It almost tore the bag that it came in, it was so heavy. I took it back to my hotel, unwrapped this beast and dug in.
First impression.....way, way, way too many fries, and not enough carne asada. I took a bite into it and it was pretty dry. Probably had to do with the fact that it was mostly fries and it had double the tortillas as normal because of the quesadilla wrapped around the burrito. The fries were fine though, the carne asada (while skimp) was tasty, and it included guacamole and sour cream which almost got lost in all the starchiness of the burrito. The layering was a little off, too. All the meat was on one end, fries on the other. The rolled tacos were right in the middle. About those.......they were not needed, and actually detracted from the burrito (I pulled them out after a few bites.) because they were a little soggy (not crispy, at all) and mushy. If they were fried properly, and added some crunch, it might have been a different story.
Anyways......for the average person, don't order this burrito. There is no possible way anyone should be able to finish this thing. I ate about 2/3 of HALF of it and was tapped out. I could eat no more. If you only have $11.00 to your name and need to eat for a week, or need to feed a couple of homeless fellas, then by all means, get this burrito. It was by far the largest burrito I have ever seen, but bigger doesn't always mean better. It was kind of bland overall and more "gimmicky" than "great". Glad I tried it, but would never order it again. -

Lupe makes one fine burrito. In fact, it's called "Lupe's" Burrito and it comes with steak and bacon together accompanied with succulent grilled onions, finely chopped fresh cilantro, a cheese mixture, and a creamy chipotle sauce for $8.49.
The bacon not only added a nice salty and porky goodness, but that great texture a well prepared bacon offers. The steak was tender and flavorful, the onions were tasty and tender, and the chipotle creamy sauce offered a slight spice and very good flavor.
I flour tortilla was good and I liked that they properly wrapped it nice and tight. It made for easy eating. The staff members were all very friendly.
